Enjoying the Morning

When I walked into the bridal suite and everyone was already getting dolled up and in the cheeriest mood, it really set the tone for the entire day! I knew I was in for an amazing time with the sweetest friends and family. Once I introduced myself and made my presence known, I took a few snaps in the bridal room to start getting everyone comfy with the fact that I was there to document the day. After some quick candids, I let the girls do their own thing for a bit while I escaped to start taking some detail and flat lay shots. I came back just in time for finishing touches on hair and makeup, and some relaxing fun at the venue's golf simulator! The morning flowed so smoothly and I hope Paighe and her gal pals had the super awesome morning they deserved! My second photographer, Hannah, captured the candids of Austin (groom) and his groomsmen having a good time while the girls finished getting ready.

Honorable Moments

The most perfect wedding morning lead into Paighe and Austin's First Look. I could tell both were emotional and just so excited to see each other and for what the day had to bring. I took a couple creative angle shots and then hid in the middle of the grain bins while they had their moment. It's a good thing the weather happened to be nice enough that day in the middle of a North Dakota winter for us to use the beautiful outdoor space! The photos turned out wonderful...and you can't even tell in the photos from the rest of the wedding day that Paighe's dress caught some stains from the melting snow and slush all over the sidewalk we were just on (thanks, Photoshop).

After some extra couples' portraits, wedding party, and family formals, it was time for the ceremony. I can honestly say I got emotional during their Christ-centered wedding ceremony and just being able to feel in the atmosphere how much they love each other and how much their parents love and support them. It was truly a beautiful ceremony and I'm so glad I could document their seal of love to one another! I think one of my favorite photos of this chunk of the day is the snap I took of them opening the ceremony room doors together and walking out into the reception hall as newlyweds!

The Rest is History

You already know, the next step is to party the night away! The food was good, the speeches were heartfelt, the sunset was PERFECT, and the dancefloor was as energetic as it should be! I had so much fun capturing this wedding day! Fun fact: it was four hours away from where I live and I still drove home after leaving around 8pm...I was very tired but it was definitely well worth it! Cheers to you and your love for each other, Paighe and Austin!
