I aim for equal parts posing and action prompts. Don't worry, we'll get some of you gorgeous people looking and smiling into the camera so everyone (including yourselves) can remember what you actually look like. Just don't be alarmed when I tell you to jump on your partner's back or start rolling around on the ground together 5 minutes into our session.
THE PREGAME
Picture this- you fill out my contact form and I get back to you within 24 hours because I can't contain my excitement. If I'm available on your wedding date, I'll answer any questions you may have and send over a contract and invoice so we can secure my services. After officially booking, it's time to get creative with your complimentary engagement session! I'll send over a questionnaire so we can figure out the best location and experience tailored exclusively to YOU! During the session, we'll get to know each other a little better, and I'll make sure you feel comfy in front of my camera. I've also become known as "the photographer that lets you bring your dog" --and "ok with it" is an understatement. I'm also a sucker for wedding planning and am here any step of the way for vendor suggestions or literally anything you need advice on!
THE PARTY
This handy fanny pack of mine isn't just for spare batteries...I'll be the bearer of tissues and bobby pins, and I might even have some dress-fluffing skills up my sleeve. I'll be your professional third wheel, making sure to get the best angles, poses, and prompts and ensuring your timeline flows as planned. Somehow through all of that, you might forget I'm even there. I'm pretty good at making sure there's a happy medium between me bossing you around and you getting the relaxing, stress-free day you definitely deserve. I might even break out a few moves on the dancefloor to close out the day:)
THE AFTERPARTY
So you're tired and sore, but happy (so am I) and it's time for me to work my techy magic. I back up all your wedding files on multiple hard drives, and spend a FULL DAY, sometimes longer, organizing and sorting (plz check in and make sure I'm ok). All jokes aside, this part is SO FUN and I'm beyond excited to send your finished photos. Expect a small sneak peek within two weeks of your wedding day, and your full gallery plus a little USB keepsake box within 2-3 months. We're not done here- let me know if you'd like me to design a photo album from your day so you have something beautifully tangible to relive over and over again!
